Welenken’s rich history spans five decades. During that time, we have always held ourselves to the highest standards in providing our clients with quality service and real results through forward-thinking strategies and the use of the latest technology. And, we’ve maintained a commitment to the communities where we do business throughout Kentucky and Indiana.

Our staff is out and about on a daily basis making real connections through area business-related associations. We support community groups as diverse as the National Council of Jewish Women and the Louisville Bats. And, we are honored to provide accounting services for a wide variety of nonprofit groups.

Furthermore, we are a green-thinking firm and are aggressively transferring to a paperless office using the latest in software and communication methods. Additionally, we have made recycling not only a responsible thing to do but a company policy.

• April 2011: Sarah Waskey was named the 2010 New Member of the year by the St. Matthews Area Business Association. She is also a new member of the 2011 SMABA board of directors.
• December 2010: Welenken staff members collected over 50 items for Toys for Tots.
• November 2010: Welenken hosted a food drive competition in support of Dare to Care. Team #4 made up of Dana Midkiff, Kristy Ziegler, Mark Metcalf and Steve McQuigg took home bragging rights while Welenken collected more than 1,000 food items.
• October 2010: Staff members Jory Wall and Sarah Fawbush Waskey participated in Halloween at Brown Park handing candy out to nearly 1,600 children. The duo was dressed up as Dorothy and the Scarecrow from the Wizard of Oz.
